# SHELL

SHELL is an ERC-20 ecosystem reward token used within the AllBlue ecosystem.

It is distributed through supported liquidity and staking programs according to the applicable reward allocation.

No separate team allocation was included in the SHELL token distribution.

### Burn

A total of **2,000,000,000 SHELL** was transferred to the burn address on the Kaia network and permanently removed from usable circulation.

This daily amount has been applied since **April 29, 2026**.

### KRILL → SHELL Migration

KRILL was a reward token previously used in the BlueWhale V3 ecosystem on the Kaia network.

As part of the transition to SHELL, **200,000,000 SHELL** from the initial token allocation was designated for KRILL → SHELL migration.

### Token Release Schedule

SHELL was designed to distribute its Ecosystem Incentives over a long-term period.

Subsequent reward policy changes adjusted the daily SHELL distribution amount but did not change the existing long-term distribution schedule.

This change represents an adjustment to the daily reward emission rate rather than a change to the existing long-term distribution schedule.

Reward calculations within the current AllBlue environment are based on actual elapsed time using **Timestamps**.

### Distribution History

#### Ecosystem Reward Start

SHELL ecosystem reward distribution began on **December 23, 2024**.

The initial reward design used a baseline daily distribution of **864,000 SHELL**.

#### Reward Reduction

On **April 29, 2026**, the baseline daily SHELL distribution was adjusted from:

The allocation ratios among supported liquidity and staking programs may be adjusted according to protocol operations.

#### Reward Calculation Update

The reward calculation method was later updated from **block-based calculation to Timestamp-based calculation**.

This allows rewards to be calculated according to actual elapsed time rather than variations in block production.
